If you’re like me, you’re supporting a highly mobile workforce that’s using Verizon to connect on the go. Verizion Access Manager is used for connecting windows devices to the net using Verizon’s 4G network. Installing this program at deploy time using MDT 2012 can be a challenge since the exe file you get from Verizon’s really just kicking off another exe file that dumps MSI files somewhere, but where?. If you’re trying to find that elusive msi file, check %TEMP% after running the installshield exe. In there, you’ll find the MSI in a series of randomly named folders. You’ll also find the driver for the card you selected and that came bundled with the download.
