My name is Charles Parker and I’m a Microsoft certified Deployment Specialist. Currently I work in Albuquerque, and I have 12 + years in the industry. Having worked extensively with the University of New Mexico, Presbyterian Healthcare Services, Xerox Business Services, and the State’s Finance Authority, I have a wide array of hands on experience deploying every major release of windows since Windows 2000.
I’m writing this blog to document what I’ve learned and I hope you can use this to make your next systems deployment project easier for yourself and your end users. Its hard to believe it now, but I’ve been working in systems deployment since 2005. Back then we used the PowerQuest software that Symantec would eventually buy and rebrand as GHOST 9.0, but I assure you, the primitive disk cloning software we used back then has come a very long way.
So whether you’re new to deploying Windows with MDT or an intermediate MDT user, I’m sure there’s something here for you.
I also love questions, so please feel free to drop me a line. Certainly if it’s something you’re unsure of, I can write about it and help you and maybe even someone else!
